After a difficult time we have now found a fantastic new Graphic Designer! She is fabulous, newly qualified, motivated, passionate and excited too about EAT...Derby. We met through our Photographer and both people live local which supports our ethos for the magazine. We are now just in the process of sending over files so the first edition can be finally be bought to life. How exciting!

Hopefully by the end of next week it will be on its way to the printers. Lets just wait and see................

Well done on getting the designer. Particularly for magazine work, we have found they are either quite slow or not creative. I'd be interested in getting a copy of eat...derby when its ready & if you need any information on printing magazines, we have 2 monthly publications, 1 bi-monthly & a quarterly mag within our parent business.

Have you spoken to & confirmed your print date with the printers. They usually like to know well in advance for magazine work.

Glad to see things are going well- there are plenty of printers and designers here and on the forum to help out with advice!
